Meeting #5 - “Funny” business
A very successful meeting was held on the 8th of June at Daves House. All the usual suspects were there, David Jason & Gerrit, Johan, Ben and Gary. (Malcom is overseas somewhere…) We only got round to speaking about one of the two topics on the agenda, version control. Everyone seems to have their own methods of version control, and in so doing, we all agreed, version contol worked best in Clarion 5.5, and any traces of version control have dissapeared in 6…
A couple of quotes from the evening:
“So how did we get onto the topic of jokes?” said Gerrit, and in response, “Because Clarion is a joke.” - Jason
Johan also chipped in with his occasional one-liners, which had us all laughing.
So in conclusion, the evening was a real success. All of Karin’s snacks were eaten up(once again, awesome!), Gary forgot his plastic cup and fine bottle of red wine behind, and Jason was left to clean up the mess on thursday morning.
